We took Yangtze Paradise, a ship with five decks and houses 196 passengers and 120 crew members. The ship is always known as “the flowing Hotel. On the ship, we get many Chinese-style amusements, such as teaching about Chinese painting and calligraphy, Pearls, Jade. I just try to Taiji in the morning. It is not trying so hard to Taiji. There are also traditional folk music performances at the nighttime. It really is great fun on this trip. We are not just about the beautiful scenery, but also other friends from different countries on the board.
The daily shore excursion to Fengdu Shennong electricity and Three Gorges Dam site also make us exciting. We make a small wooden boat called “pea-pod boat drift” can Shennong Stream. Shennong Stream is a small tributary of the Yangtze River, 60 kilometers long, popular for its special virtues of tranquility, uniqueness, originality and wilderness. We are very pleased to see the groups of monkeys sporting among the trees, ancient hanging coffins, and the minorities.
Three Gorges Dam is the largest water project, construction projects are ever carried out by humans. It is 2335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide ontop and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Upon arrival at Sandouping, we have a chance to look from a birds eye view of the magnificent project received from the viewing platform. We also observe the five-step ship lock, the diversion canal, the dam under construction, and the power plant.
